“Are you serious?” Aeron hisses as his little sisters catches his eyes… or it’s more her blonde curls that reaches down her back, it’s easy to recognize her even in a hustle of people. “You can’t just bring guys here however you want when dad’s not around.. Al? Aelene I’m talking to you!” The young woman takes out her headphones from her decorated ears, meets her brothers eyes with disinterest in her eyes. They have had this conversation more than enough, can’t the oldest sibling just shut up for once and give her a break? It’s not like he’s completely innocent himself, no he is the completely opposite.
“I heard you, but this conversation doesn’t change a bit, so can we just stop here and live our lives without questioning each other’s life choices?” the sixteen year old’s voice is filled with sarcasm, and a judgemental tone, something that is getting more usual as she talks to her brothers everyday. She is tired of their idiotic opinions and arrogant personalities. Not that she is better herself, but does she care? No, not at all. As her brother opens his mouth to answer, most likely to yell at her, the door to her private room flings open. Jeremiah stares blankly at the two siblings, looking at Aeron, whose sleep probably was ruined because of his and the guy’s sister’s hormones. Not that he cares, Aeron has always been an annoying piece of shit. All of the four guys that Aelene lives with at the moment is quite annoying, so Jeremiah has no guilt at all for ruining their night. Nor for being with their sister. “Good morning,” he sings as he places a wet, loving kiss on the small girl’s cheek. “Did you sleep well?” Aelene giggles lightly, her smile shining up at the tall gentleman behind her. Unlike her brothers, is Jeremiah an intelligent guy, and not blind for the problem between the social classes. However, this makes him even more repulsive in the Greene brothers’ eyes. Just what Aelene wants. “Jeremiah, I think you should leave. Our father is here soon.” Aeron says between his teeths and shakes his head disapprovingly. His blonde hair is perfectly combed back, and the narrow, crystal blue eyes have the look of murder in them. “Ah, famous Mr Greene, will I ever meet your father Aelene?” the young man whines dreamy while being dragged to the big entré by the woman he spent the night with. Mr Greene is famous around their rich block, he is also a very influenced man with opinions that matters. It may seem weird, but after the third world war, politics went to hell and everyone now lives with no rules or laws. Or they don't care to follow them, at least. Being a rich, well behaving man has its perks, and Mr Greene makes sure to use them. “Oh believe me Jeremiah, you don’t want to meet him. He will burn you alive. At least after such an awful meeting, maybe during other circumstances… but then he will expect you to pop the question and marry me.” Aelene can’t hinder herself from making a grimace, all of these points are simply facts. Mr Greene is a determined man, harsh, strict and very unlovable, but it’s their father. Like it or not. And Aelene is for sure not ready for marriage, especially not to Jeremiah. “Yeah.. maybe it’s for the best,” Jeremiah gives up, but the disappointment in his eyes is obvious, and his face is filled with bitterness as he keep hitting the elevator button. “Jesus, why isn’t it coming!?” “It’s probably Sam and his friends, those idiots.” she moans, hits the stop button to mess with her older brother, before letting it go up again. The elevator is in a light blue transparent color, letting the two love birds see the faces that they had expected. The two, Sam and his friend Napoleon is playing a tv game viewed over the big wall. Technology is amazing in some ways. But Aelene hates it, the reason is unknown, but she does hate it. “Could you be more annoying?” Sam mutters as the transparent door opens per automatic, and he stands face to face with his sister. “Hello Jeremiah, shouldn’t you two stop fucking around? I am tired of sleeping in other places.” “Good morning to you as well,” the man grins and pats Sam’s back with his hand, ignoring the other guy whose face he recognize from school. The city is relatively small, at least the rich part of town, meaning everyone knows everyone. “Sam, no one has thrown you out you little dipshit, stop acting like a five year old.” Oh, Aelene shouldn’t, but she did. She embarrassed her brother infront of one of his friends, her most favourite occupation, and now she is ready to be killed. 6 feb, 2019 18:59 |
