“Come on, Scarlet, hurry up!”. The blonde girl stood at the end of the staircase and glanced at her watch. The train would leave in fifteen minutes, and they still had to go to the platform.
“I’m coming, I’m coming” she heard the stressed voice of her younger sister, who ran down the stairs with her trunk bouncing hard on every step as she ran down. Together, the two sisters walked out the big doors to the mansion they shared with their parents. “Hold on tight now”, Ivy said as Scarlet grabbed her arm and held it tight in her small hands. The two sisters disappeared from the lawn and appeared in an empty corner at King’s Cross, away from any muggles’ eyes. They started to walk as if everything was normal. Her sister’s uniform was already on her, with the green and silver striped tie around her neck. The same colours Ivy had worn when she went to Hogwarts. She had graduated this summer, and this would be Scarlet’s second year. They walked past trains and muggles going in every direction, and they approached the wall between platform 9 and 10. They pretended to walk towards platform 10 and discreetly went into the wall, and suddenly they were among other wizards and witches. “We made it!” Scarlet exclaimed and Ivy laughed, putting her arm around her sister’s shoulders. “We sure did, let’s see if we can find your friends” she said and started to look among the crowd. Subconsciously, she was looking for the boy she had seen at this time every single year since her third year. The brown-haired, good looking guy. They had locked eyes every time at the platform, but Ivy had never seen him at Hogwarts. But then again, Hogwarts was huge. “There they are!” Scarlet said and pointed towards her friends. She turned to her sister. “Thanks for helping me get here” she said and gave Ivy a hug before walking away. “Don’t forget to write!” Ivy shouted after her. A dismissing wave showed that her sister had heard her. She sighed and looked at the train. It felt weird, this was the first time she wasn't going to be on it when it left the platform. 1 nov, 2018 20:56 |

Christian recalled the promise he had made to his sister when she first got the letter from Hogwarts. He'd be with her until the train left the platform, it did sound like a great promise in the beginning but the older she got the lamer it would become but Kourtney was head strong and still wanted him to honor that promise. He stood there, at the wizardy platform for the fifth time in his life and watched his sister disappear with her friends. He looked around, hoping that maybe he'd catch a glimpse of the girl he'd seen every year. He couldn't lie to himself, she was lowkey a reason to why he still came to say goodbye to Kourtney as he was hoping to someday maybe go up to her and ask for her digits or maybe spontaneously ask her out.
Christian leaned towards the brick wall behind him and glared at the train until it left the platform, leaving him- and other relatives to the pupils- looking after the train and hoping that the school year would go by quickly. His eyes ran over the people there, hoping that the girl would be there but then again maybe she was on the train, he had seen her in robes every year and according to Kourtney the mystery girl was in Slytherin, which was more or less the bullies of the houses. 1 nov, 2018 21:11 |

Ivy watched as her sister walked onto the train, and she hung out one of the windows.
“Promise to write to me as usual!” Scarlet said, and Ivy nodded. “I’ll update you on every single thing that happens in my life” Ivy joked and watched as the train started to leave. Scarlet held her hand up, and Ivy did the same. “See you soon!” Ivy said as Scarlet disappeared around the corner. Ivy looked around the platform, a bit confused. What was she supposed to do now? She was an adult, but surely it felt weird not to be on the train to Hogwarts. She was supposed to figure out what to do with her life, but she couldn’t do what she truly wanted. Her dream was to become an Auror, but her parents would never allow it. It was a shame according to them. Ivy had a choice between becoming a Healer or a Healer. She didn’t want to do that at all. Currently, she tried to be brave and tell her parents the truth, but she had chickened out every time. Ivy took out her wand from her jean pocket and quickly made her hair into a braid with the help of a flick of it. She put it back in her pocket before moving towards the wall that would get her out of the platform and into the Muggle world, when her eye caught him. The guy! So he had graduated Hogwarts, too. She didn’t even recognize him, but he could be a year older or so, and again, there were many students at Hogwarts. She glanced at him and wondered if she should say anything. She didn’t have many seconds left before she was going to walk past him. In the last second, she stopped. “Hi” she said, and felt a bit stupid. How was she going to continue this, now? “I’m sorry, I just recognize you a lot” she said with a smile. That was always a safe card; pretending to recognize him (well, she actually did), and if he wasn't interested, just telling him that she thought he was someone else. 1 nov, 2018 21:25 |

Christian stood in the same spot until he no longer could see the train, deciding that it was time for him to move along and continue with his own life. He was just about to leave when he heard a small voice greet him. He frowned a little and looked at the girl in front of him, couldn't help the little smirk that appeared on his lips.
"Hey, yeah uh... I'm Christian, probably should have introduced myself the second time you caught me staring at you." The little smirk growing bigger and turning into a smile. She was even prettier up close, which took him by surprise. He wasn't really sure if he had the balls to ask her out, although he didn't have anything to lose either. He decided to wait, see how the conversation would turn out. 1 nov, 2018 21:37 |

Ivy smiled. Had he been checking her out? Seemed like it.
“You’ve been checking me out, yeah?” she said with a grin. She wasn’t going to confess that quickly, but she was glad that he had. “I’m Ivy” she said and was glad that he hadn’t said his last name, because that made it okay for her not to, either. Farley was one of the pure blood families, and unfortunately they had the rumours about it too. Not that it was a bad thing according to the people her family associated with, but it wasn’t very fun for Ivy. She didn’t think like the rest of her family did, and she knew that Scarlet didn’t either. The whole pure/not pure blood thing was an old thing, as old as the faded tattoos on her parents’ underarms. They thought they were discreet with them, but Ivy had caught a glimpse of them multiple times. The faded skull with the snake, something that would never truly go away. And it was apparently the same when it came to their opinions. Ivy cleared her throat. “So, you’re here to see a family member off, too?” she asked with a smile. Maybe if he said the name of the sibling, she could connect him to at least a House. Usually Ivy knew the students from the same year or the year above, but with this guy it was completely blank. Which was weird, because he was really good looking, she should have remembered him considering she had noticed him every year on the platform. Maybe it was a thing, that she only saw him once a year, and then they just coincidentally didn’t stumble upon each other in school, just to see each other again on the platform. This was not the case right now, at least. 1 nov, 2018 21:48 |

"Oh yeah, I've totally checked you out." He didn't really have a problem with admitting it, considering the thought that she probably already knew. Ivy. It suited her and it was a rare name. He wasn't really sure what to say next so he looked around, thanking God when he heard her asking him a question so he would have to. "Yes, my sister is a student at Hogwarts. Really annoying little girl, Kourtney. She's in the house with blue details." He shrugged a little as he said, he wasn't really too into the whole Hogwarts thing as he didn't care since it didn't affect him. He wasn't a wizard so he didn't see the need for him to care about such thing as the name of the houses. He looked around once again before smiling at Ivy. "You want to go somewhere and maybe have a cup of tea with me?" There it went, he wasn't really the Casanova of his friends.

Ivy frowned. Blue details? Surely he knew the name Ravenclaw even if he himself might not have been in it? Then it hit her. The possibility was strong that he was a Muggle. That would definitely explain why she hadn’t seen him around Hogwarts. She decided not to ask, because if she was unaware, her parents couldn’t punish her for speaking with an unlawful, as they so nicely put it.
“Ravenclaw, yeah? My sister Scarlet is in Slytherin” she said and smiled, trying to not think about her theory. Especially not when he asked her for some tea. She nodded. “Sure! I’d love a cup of tea” she said and realize as she said it that they had to go to the Muggle world for the tea, if he was a Muggle, where magic was forbidden. She couldn’t understand how you got through a whole life without magic. “Where did you have in mind?” she asked with a smile. 1 nov, 2018 22:11 |
