Jacen sits down again after Sienna does, very gracefully, the years of scolding from his Lady mother.

He stands up quickly at the commotion, rushing over to Sienna to help her up. "What's wrong?" he asks with a worried tone in his voice. "It's just a crab , it's nothing to be afraid of, Sienna, I promise"

With Jacen's help, Sienna stood up on a shaky pair of legs. Lord Richars looked worried, and had also stood up as she fell over. Lady Ella, however, hadn't moved a muscle.
"I think" the Lady started, with a tone in her voice which gave Sienna a feeling that what she was about to say wasn't anything that they should argue with.
"that Lady Sienna is still too weak to function properly" she continued, and looked at Sienna.
"I suggest that Lady Sienna returns to her chambers and we will make sure that someone brings food there" she finished, and turned her head, staring at one of the servants with the look which said that it hadn't been a suggestion at all, but an order. The servant quickly came up to Sienna and Jacen, putting one hand on Siennas back.
"Come, My Lady, I'll help you" the servant said softly.

The young Lord quickly stays by her side, not wishing to leave his guest. "If I may, I would like to keep you company" a small smile crosses his lips and he puts is arm out to help Sienna walk.
As they leave the great hall, Jacen lets out a sigh that he was not aware that he had been holding in. "I must apologize for my mother, he words are not meant to be so harsh" he was sure that they weren't but the tone and the air that woman has , certainly made it seems as though that was the case.

The servant helps Sienna to her chambers as another brings the food up after them, crab , freshly baked bread, turnips and herbfilled butter was on the tray. The smells made Jacen's mouth water, he had forgotten how hungry he actually was.

As Sienna was escorted out of the dining room, she actually felt quite relieved. She didn't want to be there in the first place, and Lady Ella didn't want her there either.
"I'm doing things wrong, I understand that she doesn't like me" she responded to Jacens apology about his mother. Apparently manners were very important for the Lady, and Sienna did it all wrong. The human way was much, much harder than she had initially thought.

The crab was still on the tray that was put down on the table for Sienna to eat. She felt how her stomach turned itself inside out, and decided to eat the bread. That didn't require the cutlery either, which spared her the embarrassment of not being able to use something that apparently was a basic knowledge of humans. She glanced out the window. The sun was still up, but it wasn't long until she needed to be alone in the room for the night.

"I am truly sorry, she can be ..difficult" the words seemed hard for him to as, as with a mother like that he must have been trained and told to never go against her word, she was his mother and a lady.
He sits down at the table, smiling softly when he sees how she eats, enjoying the free feeling that she gives.

"I am glad that you are able to eat, I would feel as a bad friend if you went hungry, that is not acceptable, you are our guest" the smile persists, Jacen can't help it, Siennas presence is calming, so unlike what the other ladies in the court and country are like- he truly enjoys her company.

Sienna finished the bread before she swallowed.
"Why is she wearing those things around her neck?". The question came very sudden, even for Sienna herself. She hadn't planned on saying it, it just came out of her. But she did want to know why the Lady was wearing those horrible killing sticks around her neck. Not that Jacen knew that it was personal to Sienna, but she hoped he didn't find her question weird. Maybe she, as a human, should know what those things were? She took a sip of the drink, avoiding to look at the crab and put the goblet down in front of her.

Jacen tilts his head ever so slightly at the question. "The things? the spears? they're a symbol of her family, mother is proud of them, I suppose" He begins as he dips the crab meat in the herb butter, forgetting himself for a moment that his gusts disapproves of the cuisine. "They're used for hunting fish, the stories say that mother family hunted mermaids but they're not real, it was most likely something else and some of the sailors told tales, as they do."
