Eric smiled, and bowed. He stood in front of the Prince, after all.
"Oh I wouldn't miss this, Your Grace" he said, gesticulating around the room. He enjoyed these kind of things, even though it could be a bit stiff, especially now when both the Prince and the Princess were present.
"I have to congratulate you on your advancement" he added, looking at the Prince. If the both of them continued succeeding as they had done today, they would probably compete against each other.

Rhaena half listened to the conversation between her brother and Eric Baratheon. Why did her brother have to be so annoying? Rhaena was definitely old enough to be handling herself in a room full of people, she had done it on other parties. Why did Aelor hang after her as a puppy?

A bitter thought crosses Aelors mind "I wish that you would have missed it" but he smiles and stays polite. "And you, it was quite impressive," He wasn't lying, it was impressive but dangerous to him, loosing is not an option.

As per his fathers request, Aelor stays fairly close to Rhaena when Eric is near. It certainly isn't entertaining for him either, he would much rather be dancing with the Tyrell girl, such thoughts are no good to him now. As the evening progresses he has become more annoyed and frustrated, a good nights sleep would do the Prince good.

Rhaena smiled towards Rebecca, and then turned to her brother.
"Brother, have you met Lady Tyrell?" she asked, pushing Rebecca slighly forward. By doing so, she herself ended up behind Rebecca, next to Eric with Aelor at a safe distance with Rebecca in front of him. As a Prince, he couldn't be rude and had to speak to Rebecca, and Rhaena got at least a minute or two with Eric. She smiled, and they started talking about thing that they were supposed to talk about, but Rhaena couldn't help but feel something between them. She sure hoped that Eric felt it too, and it wasn't visible for anyone else.

Aelor blinks a few times, seems uncertain of what happened, a small smile graces his lips as he's faced with Rebecca. Gods help him but he wants to place his arms around her and run his fingers through her hair. "Lady Tyrell." he bows slightly, enthralled with her, so Rhaena's plan must have worked.
The sweet, happy smile from Rebecca is all worth it to him, Aelor decides to forget his duties for a moment and be selfish , speaking to the Tyrell girl, the girl he wishes he could wed.

A look on Erics face seems like he's pleased in the direction this is going as he turns his attention to Rhaena, happily talking to her about anything , clearly enjoying the girls company. "It's a pleasure to meet you again, Princess." Erics eyes seem to light up as he's near her. "Are you enjoying the evening so far?" for all his grace the Baratheon seems to be somewhat nervous around her.

Her plan really did work. Aelor and Rebecca were now forced to speak for at least a few minutes, which meant that Rhaena had the same amount of time to speak with Eric, too. He seemed to realize this, too.
"I am, Lord Baratheon" she said, smiling. Especially right now, she thought.
"You were very brave in the tournament today, you're a very skilled rider" she added, looking into his beautiful brown eyes. It was as if she could get lost in them.

Rebecca smiled and curtsied.
"Your Grace", she said, looking up at the wonderful Prince. He was as beautiful as the people said he would be. Especially up this close.
"You were truly remarkable out there today" she added with a smile, meeting his eyes.

Erics posture changes , he seems somewhat more relaxed as he's near the Princess, not caring about anything but her. A smile crosses his lips as he replies. "Thank you, Princess, that is kind of you to say. We all must do our best" Seven hells , I want to kiss her he thinks, letting his mind wander for a moment.

Aelor smiles back , enthralled by the Tyrell girl and her sweet voice. Gods , he could listen to her speak for hours. "Thank you , My Lady" As purple eyes meet green, he must use all of his selfcontrol to not ask her to run away with him, the crown and Kingdom be damned to all of the Seven hells and beyond.

Rhaena glanced over at Aelor.
"Well, if you keep up the good work, you might be up against my brother, and the Gods know that I would be very glad to see him taken down a pin" she said with a smile. She made sure to speak with a joking voice, but she actually meant it. Having Aelor winning again wouldn't be very fun. Not only because Rhaena would just dance with her bother during the celebration, but also because it could result in people whispering about cheating.

Rebecca wasn't sure if she was dreaming or not; she was actually speaking to the Prince. She would never believe it if she wasn't here right now, in the present.
"I've never even held a sword in my life, aren't they heavy?" she asked curiously.

Eric smiles warmly and nods, listening to every word. "One can only do his best, Princess." he starts , keeping his eyes on Rhaena. "But I believe that I fight harder to win the honor of dancing with you" such a statement could get him into trouble but it's not like he's asking her to run away, it's only a dance, no one can fault him for wanting an innocent dance with one of the most beautiful girls in the Kingdom, could they?

Another smile graces the Princes' lips as she speaks. "They are but you get used to it, I hardly know that I'm holding it anymore." a white lie but the urge to impress the young Rose is too much, even for Aelors Princely selfcontrol

Rhaena felt her cheeks turning slightly pink. Not only because of the words, but that he dared to say it. No other Lord had ever given her a compliment like that, in fear of what her brother (or father for that matter) would do. The consequences of having an over protective family. Rhaena glanced over at Aelor; he seemed very busy speaking with Rebecca which meant he hadn't heard.
"I hope that will be the case" she said, smiling towards Eric.

Rebecca looked at the Prince with awe in her eyes.
"I've watched my brothers play around with wooden swords, they are yet too young to hold real ones, but even that looks hard" she said with a smile, shaking her head.

The Baratheon smiles and seems somewhat relaxed given the circumstances of the situation, he's genuinely happy to be near her and doesn't seem to care about the difficulties that may occur when not being allowed to speak to the Princess without the worry of having guards arrest him. "I shall strive for it until the end, Princess. Nothing will bring me more joy during this tourney" he says, expression and tone seems honest, they are not empty, shallow words.

Aelor happily continues to speak to Rebecca, smiling charmingly. "Mayhaps one day I could show you how heavy and large a true steel sword is, show you how to use it" As he speaks he knows that his attention should be elsewhere but Aelor can't seem to pull away from her, the honey brown hair and hazel green eyes are too much, he's only human
