[PRV] S.H.M & Aphrodite

"Now , pray tell, sweet sister, why would anyone exaggerated about meeting something that's so lovely?" The question is tinted with a comical tone , as if he is joking. "A fin? how would you dance and run with a fin, Clara? you would be a true fish out of water then" Jacen laughs, clearly amused by his own semi-joke. As if he replies to Clara's fin question , he dives with a large splash , disappearing under the water, only to emerge a good 30 odd meters ahead , smiling.
"No fins here, I am afraid, little sister" he laughs once again and pushes his hair out of his face since he had untied it before.


"Perhaps the sailors are so lonely and weary of the company of men that the invent things to keep them sane. I suppose I would do the same, there is nothing like thinking of a pretty girl" He says as he floats back towards the girls on his back, lazily moving his arms to go forward. "If they could talk to fish, I would ask one for a loyal flock..herd? pack .. of sharks"

"It will be a magical fin of course" Clara giggled, obviously happy about making these things up.
"So I can turn both into a mermaid and a human" she added, grinning. Sienna had a hard time keeping a straight face. Not only because what she was witnessing with the humans killing all those fish, but what Clara was describing as magical and non-existant, actually stood in front of them this very moment.
"I think you would look quite good in a fin, My Lady" Mira agreed with a smile.
"I would ask for a herd of dolphins! Can you imagine something cuter?" Clara exclaimed as an answer on her brother's wish for a pack of sharks.

Sienna had finally drawn her eyes from the ship. She felt absolutely horrible inside, but she knew there was nothing she could do. If she did, she would expose herself and her kind would most likely die out. She just had to hope that the fish knew to keep away from here. It reminded her that she still had to find the flower, but she had no idea where else to look. She swallowed and pulled her hand through her hair. Now it was familiar, feeling the soaked, black hair between her fingers. She longed for the day she could return to the sea, and she hoped it would be soon. She looked up at the sun, and then towards some of the bushes that was neatly growing alongside the top of the beach, furthest from the water. If she could get the group of talking about flowers, maybe she could just drop her flower into the conversation, and find out if they knew where to find it?
"You've got really beautiful nature around here" she said, gesticulating towards the land.

"Of course , how silly of me, it must be a magical fin" Jacen exclaims with a chuckle shaking his head. "What good would dolphins do?"
He places his arm around his Clara's shoulders. "I must agree with Mira, you would look wonderful as a mermaid, what colour would the fin be?" Jacen can't really tease his sister, she is so frail.

The young lord is trying to get as much water as he can out of his hair. "Thank you, we are proud of our flora and fauna here and the mountains are a sight to behold. The mountains and forests were an excellent place to hunt in, full of deer and boar. Those hunting trips were something all boys and men did, helps bond them people and provides the nobility with some much needed sport and escape from the castle life. Clara smiles proudly. "We do, plently of flowers too. Mother has all kinds in her glass garden, have you been?" she asks with a gleam in her eyes and smile on her lips

Clara laughed.
"It would be red!" she said and smiled.
"And I would ride the dolphins" she added with a grin. They moved to the beach, and Mira lifted Clara up and put her down on the sand and used a towel to dry her hair. Sienna looked over at the things Jacen called mountains. They looked massive, and a bit intimidating, but also very beautiful. Sienna turned to Clara.
"Jacen showed me them yesterday" she said, smiling.
"I've heard of a beautiful, rare flower called Seadust, but I've never seen it before" she said, and felt quite confident sliding in what she was looking for into the conversation. She needed to know if they knew where she could find it, or if she wasted her time here. She didn't only have the sun pressuring her for time, but also her dying people. Her father got worse and worse for every day, and Sienna wanted to save him. The disease that had spread in Atlantica was even so bad that the merfolks own magical abilities couldn't heal it, which said a lot about the disease. Time was ticking, but unfortunately Sienna had a feeling it would take a while for her to find Seadust.

"Red? are you certain? why not blue? shouldn't you keep to our family colours?" he jokes, smiling. "If you stay longer then mayhaps we can go walking there" Jacen keeps his eyes on Sienna.
He steps out of the water, drying off, glancing at Sienna again. "A flower? I've never heard of that, what does it look like? some have a different word for it"
A giggle comes from Clara as she shakes her head. "You don't know anything about flowers or gardening besides for what spices work well with meat" She jokes. He just laughs."You might be right, little sister"

Sienna felt her stomach drop. They didn't know about the flower, which meant that she had to look elsewhere, but she had no idea where.
"It's apparently red and gold, with a lovely smell" she said, looking at the siblings. Clara shook her head.
"Mother has no flower with those colors, golden flowers are very rare" she said, shrugging.
"Although she says there are a lot of beautiful, rare flowers closer to the mountains, but it's very hard to get there, she has never tried it even though she would love that addition to her collection" the young girl continued, and hope was lit within Sienna. The mountains. Jacen had pointed towards them before, could it really be that hard to get there? Of course it would be harder for her - she could only go by daylight and had to be close to a body of water during the night.

Sienna's mind was working as the group walked off the beach. Mira was carrying Clara to her wheelchair and put her down in it. The group walked towards the castle, but Sienna didn't pay much attention to what they were doing, her mind was elsewhere.

"Those mountains are no place for a lady. One needs to be a good rider , hunter and fighter" He sounds almost worried, knowing that that enviroment would not be suitable for those girls. As Jacen begins to dress again, he looks around, thinking he senses eyes on him.

Clara looked at Jacen.
"I would love to see the mountains" she said while using her arm to get in a better position in the wheelchair.
"I am a good rider with my special saddle" she added, a bit quieter and almost as if she was only talking to herself, trying to tell herself that she was at least good at one of the things her brother listed.

Sienna looked at Jacen. It did really sound dangerous. She opened her mouth to say something, but saw how Jacen suddenly acted strange; he was looking around, as if he was looking for something. Sienna frowned.
"Something wrong?" she asked, trying to look where he had been looking, but she saw nothing.

"We will do that sometime, when father approves" He dries his hair and chuckles. "The saddle was a very good idea, and the horse is well trained, all things work well"

"No no, nothing is wrong, I was simply thinking" Jacen pulls his tunic back over his head.

Sienna nodded and looked over the ocean. She could swear that she saw something further out in the water. She blinked, when she realized that it was probably the head of someone she knew. Why on earth would a mermaid swim up to the surface? Sure, it was far out but still. As quickly as Sienna had seen him or her, as quick was the merperson gone. She blinked again and turned her attention to the others. She dried herself and put the dress on again. Her hair was wet, which felt much better to Sienna than the dry hair did.

Her mind went to the mountains, where her flower probably was. She needed it badly, but she had no idea how to get there.
"How would one even get to something that far away?" she asked, looking towards the mountains Jacen had pointed at before. Clara had spoken about riding, but Sienna had no idea what that was.
"It looks beautiful" she added, and that was true. The mountains did look beautiful, but at the same time very intimidating.
