Kiera listened to Yuu, seeing his assumptions was logical, and she had no intention to be sliced to pieces. True she had great healing powers, but if she got sliced by the monster she would need a lot of power to patch herself up, and it was always more difficult treating herself, than someone else. Kiera only nodded in respons, seeing she had nothing to add to his comment. Leon seemed as he wished to say something, but was unsure about what, so he kept quiet, something that pleased her. She couldn't stand stupid questions, or people who asked questions, just because.
Kiera leaned against the wall, finding a spot that wasn't bloody, seeing she didn't wish to have her bare skin bloody, or infected with something. She only listened to the others. She understood Yuu, nothing really mattered, at least not to when it came to who they were. If she told them who she really was, well it wouldn't help anyone, least her. And she didn't wish to make her life more annoying than it already was. That Leon distrusted them, well she couldn't care less, she didn't trusted them, not one bit, and she would almsot be angry if they trusted her, seeing that often was more annoying than anything else. People who trusted you often looked up to you, thought you had all the answers and so on. Her brothers often looked at her that way, and she did love them, and was glad that they trusted her, but sometimes she wished they didn't. She wished they didn't saw her as the best person in the world, because she was far from that. Even if she hated when her father compared her to George, she knew that she was more like him than she wished, but what could she do? She was like she was, and she wouldn't change. Kiera raised an eyebrow when Yuu called her 'this one', she didn't comment it, just noticed it. Well she wasn't offended by it, actually found it more humoros than anything else. However, the glimpse of fun she had, disappeared when the woman opened her mouth, annoying her. She hated people who said things like that, and she almost wished to answer, that she didn't have a say in it, but she didn't. "What do you think?" Leon asked Claire and Kiera had never understood people, who had those discussion infront of other people. "I don't know" Claire seemed to think of the options and Kiera was once again reminded of why she didn't liked civilians, they were to no use. Leon looked at her and she sighed. "I will continue this way, if Yuu wish to come with me, that's fine" she glanced at the man, not really needing him, but she wouldn't oppose if he followed, compared to the other two. "Seeing that there is only one door this way, I would suggest that you either search the doors we didn't try on the lower floor, or walk your way over to the other side of the station and search there, or continue up. If you do it together or not, I don't care" Leon looked at Claire who only stared at Kiera, clearly not liking her attitude, something that didn't become the doctor, knowing few did. "We will go up" Leon declared and the other woman looked at him, she wanted to protest but then seemed to think it was the best option. "If we find the medallions, go to the statue and wait for the others. Searching for each other will be to much of a trouble" Kiera only stated before she turned towards the door to her left and opened it. 'Fantastic, a door that was open' she thought, before she went inside. She saw that it was a locker room, but if she remembered the map correctly, this was the only way through the corridor on the other side, unless they wanted to walk around the whole thing. She wondered who the fuck build a place like this? Once again thinking George would have. As she walked forward she saw that the hot steam blocked her way, and the handle to turn it off was missing. Was that done intentionally to hinder people from going further, or did someone try to sto the dead? She didn't know, and she wasn't sure which reason she preferred, but she looked at the knob, and she let a small amount of magic flow to it, turning it off. If it was something she wouldn't do, it was going to search for a valve as well, not when she could fix it with a little amount of magic. She raised her gun as she continued walking, only to find another locker room, this time for the females, she guessed from some clothes that was left behind. She saw nothing of value and she walked towards the corridor, hoping they could find something on the other side. 21 jun, 2019 20:34 |

Yuu yawned. The time they had spent on deciding felt like a month and a half. Finally leon picked one, and they were all on their way.
Since he wasn't going to join the other party, he walked behind Kiera. With his arms up and resting behind his head. Much to his amusement Kiera had reacted the same way he had about the open door. About time someone forgot to lock something. What a ridiculous police station. "Can you imagine working here. What a fucking chore to constantly have to look for a specific key to open a door." He mumbled more or less to himself, but to her as well. The ordeal of just going to the bathroom had to be terrible. Tsk tsk. He looked around in the locker room and found some touchpad lock of some kind. Checking the lockers let him know that there were some useful stuff in them that they could use. Looking at the pad told him even this was supposed to be a chore. Why? Why were there buttons missing?? Who, had taken the time to remove them and place them somewhere else? Or did they just bring the buttons with them? "What the actual fuck". Luckily he came from a more advanced place, and opening such an electronic lock without the buttons wouldn't be any issue for him. He was just annoyingly amazed at the stupidity of this place. Yuu had opened every lock, and gathered what they could be needing. Putting most stuff in his bag, following after Kiera whi had disappeared a little while ago in the other part of the locker room. "You still here?" He called out while walking further in and observing the key card in his hand. 9 aug, 2019 00:07 |

"I would kick in the doors, giving up on finding this fucking keys" she admitted. She had very little patience for games like this, seeing they had no meaning besides trying someones patience, possible torture them with the possibility of a way out that you could never find. Once again she thought this would be a perfect place for George, he would love it, but the man was crazy, to put it mildly.
Walking with her gun in hand made her miss Dragor, it would be so easy to have him search through the room, not needing keys or anything. She was fit to manage without him, she was just comfortable enough to rarely have to. And it was moment like this she almost wished she had more spirits she could use, like Ezra. On the other hand, if she did she wouldn't be able to fight like she did, and she really had to be dependent on the spirits, something she would have hated. For the blind man, it was perfect, but not for her. Kiera heard how Yuu opened something behind her but didn't pay much attention to what he did, seeing he most likely had a reason to do so. She stopped when she saw a body, placed on the bench in front of her, so far it hadn't moved and she wasn't sure if the creatures could set a trap. She carefully took another step and it fell to the ground, making her aim the gun at it, but after a few minutes it still hadn't moved and she figured it was dead, and walked a bit closer, soon getting it confirmed. Just as Yuu called out. "Yes I am here" she only answered, giving him a glance as he got closer and she went to open the next door, which was unlocked as well. She silently opened the door and was met with another dark corridor and she activated her sight once more. The first thing she saw was blood, more than in some of the other corridors, together with two dead cops. Someone had left the window open, making it pour in. As soon as she took another step she heard the now familiar sound of claws against the surface. Great another of those fucking creatures. In this rate she felt like she would run out of bullets, despite the large amount of ammo she carried. She soon saw the creature, just as it dropped a body from the ceiling and she heard bone cracks. Kiera thought ab out the situation, she could fire at the thing, waisting another five bullets, hoping there was only one in here, so not another would be drawn, or she could try to be stealthy. It reacted to sound, she wasn't sure how much sound she needed to make to be able to trigger it, but she could at least try. She held the gun in one hand, as she let some of her energy flow to her other hand, prepared to use her powers in case needed, willing to risk that over dying. But as long as the creature wasn't hyper sensitive she was confident in her skills. She carefully stepped forward, one step at the time, waiting for an reaction, so far she didn't got one. The creature moved around, seeing to seek for something rather than have noticed her. She carefully stepped over the water and approached the door to her right, almost being directly under the thing, who still didn't noticed her as she opened the door to step inside, wondering what Yuu chose to do. Being inside she saw that the room was different from others, not only because it had light, but it was also less destroyed than the others. The office just seemed to be a bit messed up, as someone had searched for something in a hurry. What caught her intention first was the metal cage inside and she headed over, seeing some weapons inside and she turned towards the computer, who soon demanded access and she snorted. She wouldn't go searching for some code, seeing it may not even be here. The code may be on someone who fled the town. Instead she touched the metal, feeling it's spirit. She felt that there was an alarm and she chose to kill it first, not wishing to find out if the creature could get through doors, before she started to bend the metal. It took more energy than the other doors, being better locked and that metal rarely wished to work with you, but she managed. She felt that her energy levels was a bit lower and she needed to keep that in mind in case she fought to fight. But stepping inside she saw that it was worth it. She liked her gun, being made just for her, and so she could handle different races in her world, easily changing bullets, but she didn't hesitate to take the samurai edge and more ammo. She rather have more than one gun at her! she thought of taking the flash grenades but she knew she wouldn't use them, cause she wasn't used to. And this wasn't a situation to start a habit of doing so, if Yuu walked in here and wanted them, he could take it. Kiera thought of taking another gun as well, but decided that two and a lot of ammo was better. After stocking up, she started searching the office for other things that could be useful. 11 aug, 2019 02:11 |
