Kiera raised an eyebrow, far from offended, actually pleased that he wished to see the papers, not trusting her blindly. It told her that he wasn't an idiot, at least not when it came to this.
"Of course" she said as she put her gun as well, showing that he should follow her as she went back to the desk where she had found the papers. "Here, this is what I found, it doesn't tell a whole story, most likely missing a few things" She handed over the ones she had found. It told a story you could understand to some extent, but it felt like she didn't had all information. Or maybe she had found all the people had known, maybe it had got so fast that no one knew what really happened. She couldn't tell, since she hadn't been here. She had hoped to meet someone that was from here, maybe someone that knew the whole story. She sat down on top of the counter, with Dragor in front of her, still watching the man and she smiled, knowing the spirit would do that all the time, until he knew that he wasn't a threat, if that ever happened. The only ones he accepted was her family, to no surprise. The other ones who had started visiting her hospital, he distrusted them, hating them almost as much as she did. But seeing that he was a lifespirit, bound to her it wasn't to strange. But she didn't thought of it, having other things to think about. Kiera couldn't hinder a smirk when the man answered her that he was sort of military, just better. She wasn't sure what to believe, she had rarely met any good soldiers, her father was a good soldier, sure, and the old ones had been, but the ones in her town was useless. The exception maybe Fairin, but he was just one man. So to her the man's words meant very little, not knowing what to believe what level he was on. Well if he was better than the soldiers at home, it wasn't really an achievement, the only good thing was that he wasn't bad. But on the other hand, maybe people here was worse than the soldiers in her town, making him on the same level of the army at home. On the other hand, from what little she had seen, she thought the man was already better than the soldiers at home. "Okay" was all she finally answered, seeing speculations really was useless, seeing that the mans actions was the only thing that could tell her how good he was. Kiera looked down on her clothes, well compared to what she had seen, they didn't match, but she hadn't really thought about it, or rather not caring. At home she wasn't to strangely dressed, especially not for a shaman, but seeing that the man was human, maybe he didn't know about that, so she chose not to say anything about it, also because a lot of humans hated super naturals. She was somewhat sure that she could take the man, but what did she knew, maybe he had gears she didn't know about, and she didn't wish to try it out right now. Instead she chose not to comment the clothes. "I am a doctor, in a way. Surgeon to be more specific" well it wasn't a lie, even if she didn't operate like other doctors did, not even in her own town. 19 feb, 2019 13:14 |

Yuu followed her to the front desk, while searching the tables. He looked through the papers and scribbles she showed him, and indeed. What she said seemed to have been accurate. These papers seemed real enough. There seemed to be some sort of old surveillance TV on one of the tables. Overseeing some locations in what seems to be the station, and seeing the state of said locations made him realise that this was definitely not safe. Not that he has ever assumed that, since he always anticipated the absolute worst case scenario so that he could find a way out. Buuut it was now confirmed that at some point this station had been attacked, and either everyone died (which was highly unlikely), ooor there were still a bunch of people or virus affected people around.
He kinda expected her to be used to scepticism at her occupation. Not because being a surgeon was weird, or being a doctor, but there was no way for anyone to not react if the woman in front of him said to them that she was a doctor. Judge and you will be judged. Isn't that something people say? It's not like he cares what she looks like or even does for a living. Not at all. But it was a bit hard to not compare to what you've seen before. Akemis face popped up in his mind, and they were polar opposites. Well alright. He wasn't going to take her word for anything until he could confirm any of it to be true. "Any combat experience?" He asked just put of curiosity. He kinda needed to know if she could be useful of if he should just dump her ass right here before she turned to an issue or annoyance. 19 feb, 2019 14:10 |

Kiera studied the man, not saying anything, giving him time to read everything. She had no idea how well he handed information, he seemed like a smart person, but there was street smart people, and book smart, and sometimes there was people who were both. It was rare, at leas around her, her father, when he had a good day, was such a person. She was actually worried about him when she was here, or maybe she was more worried over how well the others would handle him. Kaydn would most likely not be of any help, meaning everything ended up on Sinjin, well at least his fucking family was gone, so maybe he would be able to deal with it. But her brother had other problems, like dealing with who he was, at least he had befriended Vincent, and even if she hated to admit that, it was doing the man some good. Both of them where vampire and Vincent could help Sinjin with things she never could, seeing she was a shaman. She just hoped everything would be alright when she was gone, hoping her district was safe. For a second she felt how the worry became to much, seeing that George was still out there, and if he came for her father, she would return to finding corpse, Dragor felt her worry and without taking his eyes of the man he rested his head against her leg and she managed to calm down, and she patted the spirit, before her attention returned to the man as he asked her a question.
First she was silence, it was a logical question, since he didn't know her, and few doctors fought out in the battle, and seeing that he was a soldier, he may fear that he would need to do all the job. But despite seeing the logic in it all she couldn't hinder a laugh escaping her as she looked at Dragor, who barked with her, his way of laughing at the moment, since he pretended to be a dog. For a second she wonder how the man would react if the spirit laughed as he could, and then spoke with her, but they didn't say anything about it. She stopped laughing, looking at the man. "Wondering if you should leave me behind or not?" she asked, knowing she would have done that if it was someone that would slow her down, she had even done so. "But no need to worry, I have more experience than most, being fighting from a age younger than most would find acceptable for a child" She had said the words without bragging, and she knew her words may mean nothing to the man, and she didn't wish to tell him to much, but still assure him that there was no reason to worry about her, thinking of leaving her behind. "Maybe you should worry so I don't leave you behind" she said with a smirk, half joking, knowing she would do just that if he got in her way. 19 feb, 2019 15:49 |

He simply smiled at her counter question.
"Yes." He figured there was no reason to lie, and being soft and sweet wasn't exactly what he was known for. Besides if she was weak and scared like most people, him saying that would get a reaction of despair. The one person with combat experience would leave them behind and they would die. He didn't expect that from her, but at least then he had thrown all cards on the table and simultaneously read her reactions of it to properly evaluate her. Some people, believe it or not, would feign toughness and pretend they would do fine on their own, and they for sure didn't need anyone to come and save them, blaa blaaa. He looked around the room again while thinking about how utterly boring and predictable most people were. However he glanced at her when she mentioned fighting young. Not out of pity, but curiosity. He too had done that, and as traumatizing as people want to tell him it was, it never felt that way to him. It had been necessary. He knew what it was like, and thus he searched her for the truth. It seemed to be true from the way she acted, and he was content with that. Again. There really was no need to lie about such things because what on earth would anyone gain on lying about such silly things in a situation like this. He scuffed when she said he would be worried. "I assure you that even if you do, I wouldn't be worried. Whatever is going on here is not even close enough to what I'm used to. I'd do perfectly fine without extra baggage." He really didn't mean that in any offensive way. He was just dense with words if he didn't have ulterior motives. And right now he hadn't decided whether he needed this woman or not. Then again. He WAS bored. Maybe he could see her in action for the fun of it. See if she was as skilled as she claimed. That would be pretty fun. And if she died, no one would have to know, and he wouldn't be beaten to a pulp. Not like Aki could do that, but just to be sure he didn't chain him somewhere as a punishment or something else. That man was a little scary when he went off. Before he had time to ask her another question he heard something from his right. There was a gap on the hangerfoor there. Was someone actually behind there? Oh. Maybe the man he saw earlier had gone in there?? Why in earth would he go in there? He looked fairly normal. Hmm. Yuu turned and started walking towards that door and crouched down to look in on the other side. It was too dark to see, so he took out his flashlight and shone it around the corridor on the other side. Yikes. That's actually quite a lot of blood. Wonderful. He smiled and decided he wanted to see a bit more of that and what was hiding behind there. "You want to stay and wait there, or wanna join?" He asked without actually waiting for an answer. He had already crawled over to the other side, and stood up now while looking around. So silence was favorable. As much as he'd like to fight, he wasn't stupid. So until he knew more he would do stealth. Also waiting a few short moments in case the woman wanted to join in. 19 feb, 2019 17:57 |

That actually caught her interest, not that she would ask but she wondered what the man normally dealt with. She didn't deal with similar things, but none the less dangerous, or even more so. From what she had seen she would take this stupid things over some of the shitty people in her world. But comparing to mages, vampires, ghouls and what else they had, this creatures seemed stupid. Sure they could most likely be dangerous and kill, but she still preferred them. She wondered if the man thought the same, or well he most likely didn't had the same things like her, seeing he reacted to her clothes. Well maybe he had similar things but they dressed differently, but she doubted that, she didn't know why, she just did. But she found it funny that he would leave her without hesitation and didn't really needed her, she actually liked that, seeing he wouldn't get in her way. She also liked that he thought somewhat like her. Seeing that he wasn't one of the ones wishing to save and please everyone. She wasn't like that, not even a bit. She didn't help anyone except her family, she even killed people for entering her district if she felt like that.
Dragor growled as a sound was heard, and took his eyes of the man, turning towards the sound, so she kept her eyes on the man, knowing Dragor would warn her if needed. But the man soon walked over and she jumped down from the counter, following him with her gaze, seeing how he soon bent down, wishing to see what was behind. She wasn't as curious, rather not interested, since nothing in this world really interested her to much at the moment. On the other hand, staying in the hall didn't interest her either, even less. She looked at Dragor who nodded and they soon crawled under with ease. As they entered the corridor, soon standing next to the man, looking around. It was dark, not that it was a problem, Dragor could see with ease, and she could use some magic to help her. Connect with the spirit world, it would required some energy from her part, but not enough to be a problem, and at the moment she didn't wish to use visible magic near the man, not knowing how he would react. Her magic let her see energies around them, seeing nothing with an energy at the moment. But despite the green light, she could see how the floors and walls was covered by blood, and she knew it was from more than one person. She studied the water covering the lower part of the floor, but saw nothing in it. She grabbed her gun, looking at Dragor who nodded and she turned towards the man. "You wish to go first?" she whispered, unsure of what the man preferred, and she didn't care to much, if he would say no, she would do it without hesitation. 19 feb, 2019 18:29 |

"I definitely do!" He said, not even giving the opportunity to have to stand behind someone else when scouting. Then again if he wanted to have fun... This is really not the time Yuu. You cant improvise here because you dont know the first thing about this place. If she messes up it could result in him being cornered because of her. So no. He continued on forward.
Instead of his gun he chose to being forth his knife. He didn't want to risk any trigger finger, and end up attracting whatever was in here. One at a time was preferable for now. Besides it was easier to have the flashlight in one hand if he wasn't holding the gun. The knife was easily retracted from his right side lower back/hip. He loved the sound it made when he pulled it out of it's sheath, a moment of euphoria washed over him and he was almost excited again. Something new. He smiled as he moved steadily forward, into the water. It wasn't deep so that was fine, and his shoes would manage this well. The water was seemingly also not covering all of the corridor, as the flashlight lit up more of the distant parts. All good. "You hear that?" He asked happily as the screeches and sounds of infected people echoed very quietly in the corridor. Ah he was hoping it wasn't too many or that he hadn't read them entirely wrong, and they turned out worse than crawlers or something. Even though that would be a challenge of the year and probably fun, but again. He had to be a bit humble. The longer he survived the more he could kill. Simple rule. He walked around the corner to the right and jumped a bit, more surprised than anything because he hadn't expected there to be a lounging one. The darkness made it a bit harder to see all nooks and crannies, and this one had been standing where the light had not caught it, and also quietly lurked. "Oup, careful there" he said to it while catching it, in a very fast and swift move putting his knife in its head and side stepping while it fell to the ground. He looked around fast with the flashlight and noted they were alone for now. So he sat down crouching next to it. Observing the body and wounds. Funnily enough he only had about a second before the tucker started moving again. "Interesting". He said while stepping back and watching it get up. So they are resilient, can be fast, and seem to be pretty dead. Despite the fact that they, well, aren't really acting like a dead person should be. He didn't want to use the gun yet. It would corner them, and despite how fast they were, if these things were to sprint, there is no way for them to get out the same way they came without getting stuck crawling and squeezing through the crack in the hangar door. So he just made sure to put his knife against the head a few more times. After 3 total stabs it went down again, and he made sure to stomp on the head with force to crack it open. Obviously not being sure that would be enough if these things were not built as humans inside. This is only standard procedure for them. Decapitated and immobilized. Destroy the base of operations, the brain. That should always do the trick, Lind of like an off switch for the body. This time it seemed to be out and done for, and again he crouched down looking at it, and observing whatever he could find. Brain seems to work on this one at least. But it takes time. Of course a gun would be easier but it would waste the fun, and also ammo. So. He jumped up on his feet again and giggled very faintly as he let the flashlight show him the way further down the right wing of the corridor. How big was this place anyway? 19 feb, 2019 20:55 |

Kiera followed the man, which was a strange feeling, seeing it was something she rarely did. The only person she ever had with her in battle, if she had anyone was her father. Ezra had joined them when they took down Sinjin's family, and that had been equal strange. She really was unused to work with others than Dragor, she didn't need it. She often got frustrated, Gaian had started following her around, but she got mostly irritated by that. So the only thing she could hope for was that the man in front of her wouldn't irritate her. So far he hadn't but that could change quickly. She looked at Dragor who walked silently next to her, or as silent as they could through water. He didn't cared about it, being a spirit and all, and she well, her boots was good enough to withstand water for some time, and she hoped they wouldn't walk through it forever, or that it got to deep. Well if it did she could use some magic to manipulate it, but it wasn't energy she wished to waste. She studied the man hearing how happy he got by the sound, for her taste a bit to happy. She met Dragor's eyes, seeing he think the same. She got rather irritated, seeing that the creatures was boring. They couldn't even make her enjoy the killing, maybe it was because she had taken a liking to torturing people, and the creatures, well they weren't people. Wow sometimes she got reminded of how much she resembled George.
Kiera had spotted the creature through the wall, but she wasn't sure if she hadn't warned the man because she hadn't time to, or to test him. Or well it was more the later than anything. She really wanted to know how skilled he was, and he had reacted very fast, so if nothing else he had good reflexes, something that could save your life. She had her gun ready if needed, just like Dragor was ready to attack if needed, but the man seemed to know what he was doing, but seeing that it was only one, you could handle them as long as you were somewhat good. However, having nothing to do with the mans skills, it seemed like it was needed to stab the creature a few times. She was unsure of the reason for that, if it was because the man hadn't used enough force, the creature had some sort of protection or maybe the knife didn't damage a large enough area, seeing the gun seemed to take them down if you aimed correctly. Kiera raised an eyebrow when the man giggled, his reaction wasn't unfamiliar to her, just one she didn't like to much. People who giggled around her was people like Xue, taking everything to light, throwing themselves into danger. True the man could defend himself to some extent, but he was still a problem, especially since he didn't like following rules. Or it was people like the ones around George, being crazy enough to wishing to find more and more dangerous things, people who really was crazy. The man didn't seem to be the last, but she couldn't tell if he was the first kind, not yet at least. She let her eyes wonder down the corridor, seeing it went on for a while. She saw a few creatures further down, but nothing that was alarming, not yet at least. She wasn't sure what they really looked for, founding the creatures to kill them, just because, or did they looked for something? "Do you wish to find something, or just killing this things?" she asked the man, actually wondering if she should look for something, and what his plan was. 19 feb, 2019 21:56 |

He glanced at her. She seemed slightly annoyed maybe. He smiled since he might've had a vague idea why. It wouldn't be the first time anyone was annoyed with him.
"You know, as much as I enjoy spilling blood, I'm not very keen to be stuck in this place. I'm not worried or stressed out, I'm just not thrilled to be here because I have things to do. I'm trying to find out what this is, why, and how I can get back to my base." Yuu walked lightly and heard what was in front of him before he saw them. Internally he was a little conflicted. This was more than one, and honestly he didn't want to waste too much time. "And as I said before, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest if you decided I wasn't the right company. So you know, don't feel pressured to be around me". He would almost be happier about it since other people were almost always trouble for him. So with that out of the way... This scenery in front of him was a bit more pressing. They had obviously caught their interest, and where moving as a pack. Using a knife would be challenging. Fun. But unnecessary time waste since they wont go down unless you make scrambled eggs with their brains. Having decided he had enough to waste thanks to his packing uniform and bag, he made sure to use the flashlight and note all of them before he took it down for a second to prepare. "If you have sensitive ears, I suggest you cover them now. Just a heads up." He said and placed the knife back on his hip. He swung his shotgun from his back into his arms, and took a few quick steps forward and fired off. See why a shotgun is handy? He thought to himself as the first head exploded in front of him. Because in close combat you rarely get anything as powerful and effective as a sweet beautiful shotgun. The love of his life if he could decide. But apparently that wasn't normal. Moving neatly and effectively between the few creatures, he finished them off clean and fast. 5. Too easy. Boring. Well he needed to save the time. He kinda wanted to see how she would do so he had let one pass him. A normal person would just see it as if he had accidentally not been able to take so many at the same time, one slipped his hands, human error, it's fine. But someone who knew anything would see through that. Yuu decided to sit down on a desk that stood in the corner, reloading his shotgun as he observed how she would react to this encounter. If she died, his action right now wouldn't matter. If she lived, she would either understand or he would have to defend himself. And either she would get it or get pissed off. If she was pissed off she would leave. All scenarios were pretty decent. So let's see how miss doc would do he thought as his eyes glistened from the curiosity. 19 feb, 2019 23:56 |

"Pfft, spilling this useless creatures blood is boring. They don't even seem to be alive to notice so what's the point" it was a rhetorical question before she nodded. "Good to know. It makes it easier for me to make a decision. If you only wished to kill this creatures I would walk away on my own. But if you seek information, I am willing to stay for the minute, seeing two set of eyes are better than one"
Dragor glared at her but didn't say anything, and neither did she. She knew she could count on his eyes as well, but the man didn't know that. Seeing he wished to find information, she followed him as she tried to find anything. So far all she had seen was messed up corridors and blood, something that didn't provide much information. Kiera almost leaned towards the wall, seeing the man did all the work. His actions actually made her wonder why the fuck he had asked if she had experience or not. If he wished to kill everything, it didn't really matter. However the sound from the shotgun wasn't anything unusual, seeing she used her own gun from time to time, she still didn't like it. But she couldn't do much to change it, besides manipulate the sound around her so it wasn't as high as it should have been. When one of the creature passed the man she smirked, he was cleaver, and if she hadn't been observant, or an ass who could have done the same thing, she may have missed it. It wasn't to obvious, he played it well. Seeing what he did, made her wonder how she would play it. Boring and kill it with her gun straight up? Using magic? Letting Dragor take care of it? She looked at the spirit who kept an eye on the man, but wasn't to concerned, and he smirked at her, and she had gotten an idea. It was a childish one, but seeing the man studied her, testing her she couldn't hinder herself from doing it. Her father would most likely have schooled her for even thinking of something like that, but she was bored and the creature didn't prevent any real challenge. But as it walked towards her she backed away, as it made her worried, and she held her gun aiming at the creature, but as it lounged for her, she pretended to fall back, crawling backwords with the creature after her. She soon reached a wall, and she glanced at the man for a second with scared eyes before she smirked, turned her attention to the creature, swooped with her feet so it feel, and she placed her gun to it's head and pulled the trigger. The bullet killed it with ease and she stood up. "Well aren't you a cleaver gent" she smirked. "I would say he is a bit rude, placing you in that situation, just to see how you would handle yourself" Dragor stated and Kiera patted him. "I was wondering when you would start talking again" "Pfft, when people does shitty things" "You almost sound like Rivik" Dragor looked at her for a sec before he turned towards the man again. "He may be rude as fuck, but he has some good points sometimes" Dragor answered and Kiera just shrugged her shoulders before she turned towards the man. "Happy with the result, or do you plan on leaving me here?" she asked, leaning against the wall as she was smirking. 20 feb, 2019 00:27 |

"Spilling blood is what you make it to be. This could obviously turn pretty interesting fast, albeit with some restrictions of course. That way it's not so easy as it is now. Sadly I don't find unchallenging fun, so despite the feast in front of me, I'm not too happy about it."
Watching her fall was fun for a while other rain than she'd probably think. She did a fairly convincing act and maybe someone would've bought it, but he had seen her hold the gun. She wasn't scared, and she hadn't been scared when walking there, and besides she mentioned it just before, how boring these creatures were. So that she suddenly would slip and fall, shake and be scared. Nah, he didn't buy it. He smiled a mean smile, and kept reloading slowly as she finished it off. He was going to reply to her remark, but before he had time to do that the dog did. Yes. The dog. What the actual fuck? Yuu stopped his hand while in the middle of reloading, as he regained his brain for a moment. Well... He took a breath. "You know what? That is actually not the weirdest thing I've seen." He said eventually and finished reloading the gun, and located it on his back once more. "Calling someone rude as fuck is pretty rude too by the way. Not that I give a fuck about that, just saying. Pretty two faced, aren't you". He chuckled and turned his attention towards the girl. "What's your name? If I'm going to let you tag along I need something to call you by." He glanced at the dog, and studied it. He preferred to know exactly what he'd be bringing with him. If he learned its shape and form he wouldn't mistake it for some shit later on, and accidentally kill it. 22 feb, 2019 20:12 |
