Mutants (PRS)

Fine, C.
Ivy watched the man putting his own blood back in his wound. To be honest, it was quite disgusting. However, Ivy didn't say anything. She put her bag on her shoulder and turned around towards the direction of the town. However, she still kept an eye on him, in case he got crazy and tried to attack him.
You know, I can help you walk straighter. I can't make the pain go away, but I can make an illusion that it is.

She didn't even know why she wanted to help this man. As she had stated herself, she didn't know if she could trust him. Even mutants could be on the humans side in the war, either willingly or by force. You could never tell which, but Ivys powers made it easier. She threw back the plait, which had fallen forward.
So, C. Why don't you tell me who is after you?

Chase laughed lightly as he walked and ignored her offer of helping him walk, knowing well it would likely jsut be her lifting hte leg a bit and not a full illusion. Then wit ha glace he looked back at her.

They are just some people I met back a while ago, I have been chase cross country soon. They are just these weird guys with some kind of military mission, but I never cared enough to research wh they were.

As he walked he streatched and breathed in the softly cold air. The forest had so much fresher air than in the slums of all the cities. It was nice, but nothing he wanted to get used to. He marks on his arms has never hurt, but today they were jsut a pain as the light grey t-shirt he wore under the bomber-jacket was then completly destroyed.

Ivy smiled as he didn't say anything. He definitely underestimated her abilities, not accepting her help. Not that she was going to say anything.
Well, if they are who I think they are, I've heard about them, too. They're looking for humans fitting their experiments. But then again, could be another misson, too. They like having missions which include us.

Ivy was about to plant another thought in his mind, when her own was disturbed. She stopped, and listened. She held up her hand to signal C what she was doing. She sighed and turned around to look at him.
"Seems like we have company. Do they have weapons? And if so, what sort and how many?" she asked out loud, because her mind was busy trying to figure out how far away the enemies were.

Chase looked at her and put his hands into his pockets. "Not sure, remember the mshooting at me adn they can't be more than like 7 or so, the rest of my gang was taken." He sadi and took out a small pocket knife nothing big enough to kill anyone with, but big enough to make a couple new places for him to bleed through.

Swinging the tiny knife around in his hand he chuckled and looked through the woods which first looked unbotherered by the threat, but who was actually scanning the area with presision.

Ivy nodded and turned her attention towards the footsteps that now could be heard. She threw her bag on the ground, making herself ready to fight. She saw the men coming through the forest fast. They saw her and C, and started shooting towards them. Ivy held up her hand towards the men, making the world slow down. They were now running in slow motion, and she made sure the bullets aimed towards C were slung in the other direction, hitting the trees instead. She ran up towards the men, kicking them to the ground, removing their weapons. One of them was down, and she let the speed come back to reality. She held out her hand towards one of the men who now aimed his gun towards her. Just as he was about to shoot, his weapon was broken in two. The man himself was slung backwards towards a tree and sunk to the ground. Ivy turned to one of the others, holding out her hand towards him. The man started to scream, putting his hands on his head, falling to his knees. He was living his worst fear in his head. Ivy turned towards the last four, ready to fight them, too.

Seeing that the girl could fend for herself Chase quickly cut about 10 cuts in his arms and formed a riot shield as he ran rowards the remaining four and used the blood to pirce the men like wooden poles right in their bodies. One of the men had the same blood type so he took the remaining blood from that guy after anelysing him of no deceas and absorbed it inside of himself.

He looked to the girl and later continued walking.

Ivy was just about to move forward and help C, when he clearly didn't need any. Using the blood of himself and his enemy, they were down pretty quickly.
"Well, I've never seen blood used as a weapon before, but sometime should be the first" she said as she bent down to pick up her bag. She looked around at the humans lying on the ground. She could search their minds for information, which would make it easier for them. C didn't seem to know much about the threat.

Chase looked back to her and sighed. "If you must know is that I don't know why they are chasing me other than for the reason of me being a mutant, they had already taken my former gang. I tired to save them, but got captured for a while before escaping to here."

His words were muted as afraid as more would come and attack once again. As they came nearer the town a breath of relief escaped Chase's lips. "Got any money?" he asked and looked to her.

They moved, and left the men on the ground. Not that Ivy cared, they had attacked them, after all. She arched her eyebrow when C asked for money.
"Well I'm not an ATM, if I'm putting it that way" she said and grinned. She looked at him.
"Your friends, do you know where they were taken? I have a feeling they want their captives alive" she said and sighed.
"And I'm pretty sure it's unfortunate for whoever gets caught" she added.

"I was only at a trading kinda place, or a depot before being sent to the main place, but they did some pretty bad shit to us while there too." he said with a cold chuckle at the end before striding into town and looking around.

The outskirts of the town was of the normal affairs, no high walls no end to it really, a calm place filled with seemingly normal people. "They took all my cash when going so, it is either that you pay for extra or sleeping out," he then said with a slight annoyed grin.
