Ceòl was looking out through the window, seeing how the sun started to set, hating it. He couldn't remember if he had liked it before everything happened, but he hadn't hated it. Now, he did, as it taunted him every time it shined, reminding him of what he couldn't have. It wasn't impossible for him to visit outside, wearing the right gear, but it wasn't the same. It didn't gave him the warmth it had once, instead he felt nothing but coldness. Few things could warm him, a meal of hot beverage could do it for a short time, drinking blood did it for a longer time. He should hate it, the feeling of blood filling his mouth, covering his hands and face, but he didn't. He knew it was because of what he had become, but he wished that he had some human part left, that would create a hate for it. However; it was like everything that had been human was once gone. He didn't feel the same for anything, he didn't experienced things the same, he didn't even think the same anymore, that he could hate. The anger took over, making him attack the window, breaking a part of it in the process. The suns last beams made contact with his skin and he felt the burning feeling. The glass was built with a filter, protecting him from the sun, but broken, it didn't work. He looked down at the hand, it started to heal already, but he felt the pain as it did. Most things that should cause him pain didn't, however the sun did, worse than anything he had ever felt. He cursed as he went to collect something that could cover up the broken parts of the window.

Well, at least it had been a sunny day. The world looked like it always had, but the feeling in it was different. At least if you were a supernatural being. Those were the kinds that humans hunted for fun, and either killed or kept like slaves. Nagawi knee too much about what could happen if the wrong human got their hands on a supernatural.
The blonde woman stood by the window, and looked down at the street. There weren’t many people there. Nagawi looked towards the horizon, where the sun’s last rays desperately tried to reach the ground. Nagawi smiled and turned around. The flat she had managed to get her hands on was pretty nice. It was modern, which meant it had some features that made her life easier. She made her way to the door, and put on a coat over the red dress she was wearing. The heels clicked as she walked on the asphalt, towards the woods not very far from the city core. Her long, blonde braid moved as she walked, hanging down her back. At the edge of the forest, she looked around. Nobody was around. The woman quickly turned into a huge wolf, with fur in the same golden colour as her braid. It wasn’t uncommon to hear or see wolves in these woods, which made it safe for her to be there. The big wolf moved into the forest, and Nagawi enjoyed the feeling of grass underneath her paws, the wind in her face and the smells that was all around her. This made her forget the world for a while, the world that wanted her dead for who she was. 1 jan, 2019 00:25 |

The rumbling noise, coming from his stomach, informed him that he needed to eat, and he sighed. It meant that he needed to leave his dark apartment. It was a classy one, or had been when he bought it, he had turned it into what he only could guess was a typical vampire lear. Dark, depressed, stacked with books and candles, he thought of it as cosy, but he was more than sure that others would see it as the opposite, not that it mattered since he never brought anyone back to his home. He avoided people, not knowing if they were supernatural, which he still despised, or humans, which despised him. He took the coat and hat from the hanger, before he covered his face with a mask. Luckily none of his neighbors had asked about it, the ones who had, he had blamed it on the war, stating that he was injured. That earned him som respect and it made him smile, even if he wished he never went to war, people respected him for it. After locking the door, he soon disappeared into the shadows.
With a cup of tea between his hands he walked the streets, searching for victims, but he had yet to find anyone. Despite feeling hungry, he had some standards. He didn't hurt children, and he stayed away from whores and drug addicts. He didn't know if he could be effected by the drugs or what sickness they may have, but he preferred not to know. He hated the once who had turned him, but he couldn't refuse, wishing that they had thought him anything before leaving him. But he had been thrown into a new world without any help, something he knew they did on purpose, and if he ever saw them again he would kill them, or at least make an attempt. Taking another sip from the cup he continued walking. The warm blood tasted lovely between his lips, easing his hunger and making him feel stronger. His senses was sharper and normal humans to begin with, but after eating the got even better, and it was one of the few things he could find himself to like. Being able to see clearer in the dark, hear better, smell and taste better. The taste was the one he liked the most, at least when he feed, and he pressed down hared to get more of the mans blood, not caring if he killed him in the process. 1 jan, 2019 12:43 |
